About
I started making lures in 2021 while staying in Houston, Texas. My wife and I had to relocate to Houston to give birth to our amazing daughter. She was diagnosed with CDH and required surgery while she was in the womb, followed by a lengthy NICU stay. I could not fish during this time, and I often passed the time dreaming of being back on the water. I thought about how 90% of my tackle box consisted of products from China. I watched a few YouTube videos and decided to attempt lure-making to help pass the time. I started with oven-baked clay and sculpted a few early prototypes. I have always loved bass fishing. Everything I make is by hand; I do not use a CNC or a 3-D printer. My lures start as a block of wood or a piece of clay. I currently work in the oilfield and dedicate my time to working on lures at home. I will do my best to keep the inventory in stock. Fishing is the one thing that kept me out of trouble growing up. Some of my most incredible memories are fishing trips with my grandpa and dad. I hope my lures can provide the same great memories to others!
